Nicolas James Building Ltd was formally established in 2007 as a building arm to the Nicolas James Group. Having gone from strength to strength proving its worth and delivering multiple prestigious projects throughout the commercial and residential sectors we continue to grow and are very excited about our future. Our services include and are not limited to , securing sites, construction and refurbishment design, planning and delivering a fully completed package whatever its intent. Building Conversions

Having secured planning permission to convert an old derelict listed barn into five modern houses ranging between 2 – 4 bedrooms. Work included underpinning, two small extensions, replacement roof, new floors to both ground and upper ground and a full internal fit out including Oak staircases, modern country style kitchens and bathrooms.

Town House

Conversion of 3 storey town house into a six storey £14m luxury home. Works consisted of new habitable basement installation, new floors, rear summer house and a complete internal fit out to the highest specification.

Office Fit Out

Extensive works carried out to an old engineering factory into a modern open plan working space. Works consisted of a full asbestos removal and internal strip out. Replacement roof and external cladding. New 800 s/ft mezzanaine floor, Private fully glazed offices with large open plan working area. New Kitchen, Toilets and board room to the upper ground. A new food processing plant, storage area and training academy has been installed to the ground floor.

Hotels

Having successfully secured planning permission, to fully refurbish a tired derelict property into a luxury 50 bedroom Hotel and spa facility including 10 Luxury residential apartments ranging between 1500 – 2500 per s/ft within the prestigious setting in the Salcombe on the South Coast of Devon.
